Great West Coast Showing...
First, THANK YOU for the upload! I appreciate your time Jon Hart. Off the radio, off the board! (I'm getting a digital FM recorder for next year!)
Set started out the day at High Sierra 2009 (after a late-night full band set just hours before). A small group of Dust Heads front and center turned into a field full of smiling and dancing faces. I wasn't surprised by the crowd that formed, just delighted!
Reid and the boys were on par and gave California a reason to google "assembly of dust" when they got home. As Reid said mid-set, "if you don't know us, you do now."
High Brow was rockin' (first time hearing it live, such a well crafted song!), Cold Coffee made us cry (too much anandamide?) , and I don't know how many people noticed that they closed with "Westerly," but it was appropriate, ruckus, and a great way to end a special AOD-weekend!
Thanks to Reid and the guys!
(anyone get setlist, or any recording (other than the one posted on youtube) of the late-night Troubadour Session (REID SOLO!)? Reid only got three or four songs in but it was really nice)
